Naturally, FRITZ!Powerline 1220E is compatible with products compliant with older powerline standards. You can even use FRITZ!Powerline with 200 Mbit/s or 500 Mbit/s models to expand the boundaries of your home network.

FRITZ!Powerline 1220E is more powerful than previous FRITZ!Powerline models, but still offers the same low power consumption. Thanks to the smart energy-saving function, FRITZ!Powerline automatically switches to standby when no data are transmitted.

Security comes first. That applies to the FRITZ!Powerline adapters too. The ex works 128-bit AES encryption provides maximum security. The encryption settings can also be transferred to any new FRITZ!Powerline adapters, which can be connected to the network at the push of a button.

The integrated chipset helps you to save energy. The FRITZ!Powerline consumes less than one watt in standby mode, which it automatically switches to if no data is being transmitted.
