The zirconia alumina and semi-friable aluminum oxide abrasive grit blend delivers a brilliant removal rate and lifetime on metal applications. Furthermore, its highly robust X-cloth with stable backing ensures durability and steady performances on tough surfaces. The grit is bonded using fully synthetic resin on X-cloth for optimal sanding behavior. It is intended for deburring and welding preparation on carbon steel, mild steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metals and cast iron. It is also ideal for removing discoloration, stock and surface imperfections. The X551 Expert for Metal is compatible with angle grinders.
